Lifton Farm Shop – Letter from English Heritage – Planning Application 00063/2013

English Heritage have now submitted an eight page letter to WDBC picking up the point made by Mabrake that the recent applications for Wind Turbines at the Lifton Farm Shop, Wortham Farm and the ones at Launceston cannot be considered in isolation as in a rural context they are replacing church towers as the dominant man-made landscape feature.

The go further in their letter by suggesting it is premature to consider this application until WDBC has addressed the strategic policy of wind turbine placement in general, a recommendation that Mabrake has been putting forward for some time.

To see the full letter, log on to the WDBC web site and follow 00063/2013 under Planning/Associated Documents and read document 287500 dated Friday April 19th 2013.
