The Monster Turbine at Pipers Pool Launceston

For those of you who have not seen the Wind Turbine located close to Pipers Pool here are a couple of photographs giving you some idea of the size.

I’m unable to find the Planning Application for this installation and therefore not sure of its height but it is at least 50m to hub and therefore probably 77m to tip of a blade.

Meeting to Oppose Turbine and Solar application – Week St Mary – Holsworthy

Anyone who is against Wind Turbine/Solar Farm development is invited to attend a meeting at Timberlake, Week St Mary, Holsworthy, EX22 6XG at 7.30pm on the 1st August 2013.  The agenda will be how to oppose “Good Energy’s” Public Consultation event planned for the 7th August 2013 at Week St Mary Parish Hall and their expected planning application.
