The Monster Turbine at Pipers Pool Launceston

For those of you who have not seen the Wind Turbine located close to Pipers Pool here are a couple of photographs giving you some idea of the size.

I’m unable to find the Planning Application for this installation and therefore not sure of its height but it is at least 50m to hub and therefore probably 77m to tip of a blade.

    This eyesore dominates the village, especially seen from the main road coming from Hallworthy. It emphasises why we must end this madness. Thanks for bringing it to everyone’s attention.
