Have you Objected to the Ramsdown Turbine?

You only have today and tomorrow to object to the Ramsdown 77m wind turbine which will tower over Milton Abbot – If you haven’t done so yet please support us by submitting your objection.

Some of the reasons for objecting are as follows:-

The Ramsdown Turbine will be sited within 1km of Milton Abbot village, designed by Lutyens and built by the Duke of Bedford in the 19c. The village contains a mix of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings and is a special conservation area.
The Turbine will dominate views to and from the 12c Grade I listed St Constantine’s Church in Milton Abbot
Sited on one of the highest hills in West Devon, it will be prominent in views to and from the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Dartmoor National Park.
It will be visible with other similar turbines at South Petherwin and Launceston in Cornwall and the Lifton Farm Shop and Wortham Manor ones already in West Devon creating an appalling cumulative effect.
