Hatherleigh needs your Help!

Hatherleigh Town Council have arranged a public meeting to discuss a planning application for a 77m high wind turbine at Heane Farm Hatherleigh.

This will be held in the Community Centre at Tuesday 24th June at 7pm and is open to all members of the public.

If you are not able to attend please still put in a submission objecting to this application through West Devon Borough Council using the application Number 00635/2014.

    Dear David

    I may have left it a bit late but if you can please mention that we are flying a blimp as mentioned in the Okehampton times this week.

    The 77 m blimp will be flown on Sat 14 June between 9 am and 5 pm in a field well signposted adjacent to the proposed West Down Farm , Jacobstowe .

    The PA hasn’t been submitted yet but could be any day now .

    Please note the “Hatherleigh needs your help” post refers o the Hatherleigh turbine at Heane Farm which went into planning at WDBC last Friday (00635/2014). The blimp to be flown on Saturday refers to the Jacobstowe turbine not yet in planning. The only connection is that they the same height!
