Lawhitton needs your help to fight another Wind Turbine!

It has been pointed out to us that an application for a 77m Wind Turbine has been made close to Lawhitton and roughly one kilometre ESE from the one at Scarne farm.  This new site is on the other side of the road from the Launceston Cricket Pitch over looking the Inny Valley and will be another blot on the landscape surrounding Launceston Castle.

So far no objections have been made so please help the local residents by submitting your opposition.

This application has been made by our old friends Aardvark and Murex who seem intent on ruining our local countryside!

Full details can be found on the Cornwall County Council Planning site:-

David, is it high time for a Name-and-Shame list of land owners and applicants regardless of the applications being accepted or declined?

I agree entirely but it is interesting to note that the names of the landowners are not given as far as I can see in the documentation available on line!
