I found it extremely sad to talk to a couple last evening in Lamerton who told me that the sale of their house had fallen through since New Venn farm proposed having a 77m wind turbine just some 500m from their house.

The sale had been agreed but the couple were compelled by law to tell the prospective buyers about the proposed wind turbine location and not surprisingly the buyers withdrew their offer.

The proposal to build this wind turbine has been made by Mosscliff Environmental by simple distributing a few leaflets – they haven’t even gone to the Planning department for a Screening Opinion yet but this one proposal will cause chaos in the house sales in and around Lamerton for the foreseeable future.
