Beckwell Statutory Appeal

We would like to bring you up today with events so far and Julia has provided the following:-!

The Beckwell turbine case went before the judge at the royal courts of Justice, London, on Tuesday the 13th of October, no decision was made at the end of the hearing on the 13th and the judge is currently considering the evidence before him. Lawyers from both sides are still submitting evidence to the judge as and when required. It could be several weeks possibly months before a decision is reached. I will notify Mabrake, who have been actively involved in this case throughout the Summer of any news from the courts. To date, I have had £3,510 in donations from neighbours and local action groups to help fund this appeal. I have been overwhelmed by the support and the kindness people have shown, many writing touching notes supporting my stance against this appeals decision earlier this year. I would like to thank everyone for their support it has helped to give me the strength to fight this case knowing that the community is firmly behind me. Thank you.

Julia has now opened a Crowdfunding page to help raise more money as she still has a long way to go to make even a reasonable dent in the overall costs.

Please click here. to go the Crowdfunding page.

You will see that Julia has set a low target of £500 and this is because of the way Crowdfunder works but what we want to do is smash this target and show Julia the support she deserves. Even if you have already given please pledge a little more on this page. It is very easy to use – just follow the instructions!
